Irish Dancing Weekend Course

Calling all dancers! Irish dancing is a popular and fun social pastime of Irish culture as well as during the festival. Whether you want to learn the basics steps or become a more advanced dancer, you’ll have a weekend full of fun and friends. There are 2 levels:
1. Beginner (6 hrs) This course is directed at all beginners with little or no experience in Irish dancing. In this course you will learn the basic beginner steps to Irish Dancing. Essi Lahtinen-Carranza, an award-winning dancer will teach the course.
2. Step dancing (6 hrs) intermediate / advanced, This course is directed at experienced dancers with focus on technique, hard and soft shoes, and performance steps. Taught by Ciaran Connolly, a professional dancer formerly with Riverdance as well as Lord of the Dance, Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger.
This course organised with the support of the Embassy of Ireland in Finland.
