The Friel Sisters

The Friel Sisters are up and coming traditional musicians fast making a name for themselves. With family roots firmly entrenched in the Donegal Gaeltacht, they play a mixture of music interspersed with songs in English and Irish, many from their family repertoire achieving a close blend on fiddle, flute and uilleann pipes.
They have performed throughout Europe, America and Asia, and even won the prestigious Trophée Loïc Raison at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient in 2016. Clare was awarded the 2018 TG4 Young Musician of the Year award that featured a live performance in front of an audience including Irish President Michael D. Higgins.
